Dr. Bittman is a General Internist at The University of British Columbia, where he also completed his medical school and internal medicine residency. He currently works at Revolution Medical Clinic, a multidiscipiliary obesity and hypertension clinic in Vancouver.  His clinical focus is on medical and surgical management of obesity and management of resistant and secondary hypertension.


In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Bittman sits on national clinical guidelines committees for obesity, hypertension and cardiometabolic disease and is involved in research aiming to improve care of patients living with obesity and hypertension.
