Dr. Steven Pi is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of British Columbia and a practicing gastroenterologist at Royal Columbian Hospital. He completed his advanced hepatology fellowship at the University of Toronto, where he developed expertise in the management of complex liver diseases.

Dr. Pi’s clinical practice focuses on advanced hepatology, with special interest in alcohol-associated liver disease and autoimmune liver disorders. He is actively involved in clinical research aimed at improving outcomes for patients with alcohol-associated liver disease.

In addition to his clinical and research work, Dr. Pi serves as the Physician Lead for Fraser Health in the BC Colon Screening Program, where he works to enhance population-based screening and early detection of colorectal cancer. He is also dedicated to teaching, mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows in gastroenterology and hepatology.
