Maisa is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a Master’s of Counselling Psychology from the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil. Both in South and North America she has had the privilege of assisting individuals and communities with various mental health needs. In counselling sessions, she strives to provide a safe environment and tailor the therapeutic process to each patient’s unique needs. Maisa is particularly interested in supporting individuals living with chronic illnesses and chronic pain to live full and satisfying lives.
