Sofia Bartlett is a PhD trained scientist and currently serves as an Interim Scientific Director at the BC Centre for Disease Control and an Assistant Professor (Partner) in the School of Population and Public Health at the University of British Columbia. She provides strategic and scientific leadership for communicable disease monitoring, surveillance, policy and programming, and conducts applied public health research aimed at reducing the health impacts of viral hepatitis, HIV, and other chronic infections on people experiencing incarceration, substance use, or housing instability.
