Speaker Bio
Dr. Rosenfeld was a family physician for 15 years before taking the step of pursuing a residency in gastroenterology with a focus on IBD at the University of British Columbia under the supervision of Dr. Brian Bressler. In fact, Dr. Rosenfeld was the first fellow to complete UBC’s IBD Fellowship and was also able to complete a Master’s degree in clinical epidemiology. The impetus to take on this massive academic commitment came from Dr. Rosenfeld’s deep desire to provide long-term care and make a measurable difference in patients’ lives. Today, Dr. Rosenfeld leads strategy, development, communications and more at The IBD Centre of BC, where he hopes to leave a lasting professional legacy.
