Dr. Telford graduated from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Honors Physiology. She then completed her Medical Degree and Internal Medicine residency at the University of British Columbia, following which she pursued a Gastroenterology fellowship at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA. Dr. Telford also completed her Master’s in Public Health at Harvard School of Public Health with a focus in Clinical Effectiveness and an advanced endoscopy fellowship at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital learning ERCP and EUS. She is presently a Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of British Columbia working out of St. Paul’s Hospital and the Medical Director for the British Columbia Colon Screening Program. Her areas of interest are outcomes in endoscopy and cancer screening.
